From Tomorrowland’s iconic Mainstage to your playlists, the newest anthem from Afrojack and Timmy Trumpet is here—and it features a familiar voice. They’ve joined forces with Lil Jon to release “We Can’t Stop,” an electrifying psytrance track designed to decimate crowds.
“Lil Jon is undoubtedly the official voice of the most party anthems our generation has witnessed,” Trumpet said in a press release. “What an honor to finally work with the legend himself, and to be together on another production with the one and only Afrojack is the icing on the cake.”
Prior to today’s release, the song had been one of the most hotly anticipated IDs from Afrojack’s show-stopping performance on Tomorrowland’s Mainstage in Belgium last year.
It doesn’t take long to realize “We Can’t Stop” is a festival anthem. Out now on Tomorrowland Music, the song’s party-starting sound starts within a nanosecond thanks to its shrieking alarm, which signals the mayhem on the way.
Lil Jon’s classic ad-libs build the hype before the first drop, which is flush with Timmy Trumpet’s relentless production. Afrojack’s Dirty Dutch influences take over in the second drop, bringing the track home with a cathartic finish.
