In an exciting new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cardi B takes fans behind the scenes of her latest Super Bowl LVIII commercial with NYX cosmetics. While speaking with the outlet, the rap superstar shares her thoughts on the halftime show, and even her excitement for Taylor Swift’s new relationship with Kansas City Chiefs’ star athlete, Travis Kelce.
When asked about her collaboration with NYX for her third Super Bowl ad, Cardi B couldn’t contain her excitement. She explained, “What made me want to team up with NYX this year…I think it’s a great brand. I actually love the duck plump product because it makes my lips look very very juicy. It’s girly, it’s me… I just like the whole idea.”
Cardi B, known for her extravagant and over-the-top performances, is no stranger to setting the bar high and entertaining her fans and she knows that’s exactly what Usher is going to do when he hits the big stage on Sunday. Speaking on the R&B icon’s big moment, Cardi said she is thrilled to see him take on the halftime show. “I’m so excited. He deserves this, he has come back stronger than ever and BOOM it’s like… I love him.” She went on to say, “In the future, I would like to do the Super Bowl. I think ima kill it.” With all the fun Super Bowl talk, of course, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are a hot topic. When asked to share her thoughts on the new couple, Cardi said this:

Where And When Does The Game Start?
The Chiefs and 49ers kick off at 6:30 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on CBS this Sunday. The game is also available to stream via Paramount+ and Fubo.
The Super Bowl halftime show typically starts about 90 minutes to two hours after kickoff, or around 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT).
How Is Usher Feeling About His Upcoming Performance?
Usher himself has been feeling pretty amped up about the show and even shared what fans can expect. He said earlier this week,
“There have been these fantasy lists that have been going out, people trying to figure out what song I’m going to perform first, middle, last,” Usher told a crowd of reporters, according to Page Six. “I was very mindful of my past, celebrating my present, which is here in Las Vegas, and thinking about where we’re headed in the future. And that was really the idea.”
“It definitely has been a challenge to squeeze 30 years into 13 minutes,” he said, laughing. “[I thought about] what songs do I feel people know me for? What songs have been a celebration of all of the journey of what life and love and emotion has been offered in my music.”
Who Will Be The Celebrity Guests Joining The Stage With Him?
The singer, 45, revealed to Entertainment Tonight on Thursday that he would be a ‘fool,’ to not perform his hit 2004 song “Yeah,” with the song’s featured artists Ludacris and Lil Jon being there in Las Vegas with hin.
“I would be a fool to not play ‘Yeah!’ let’s just start there,” Usher said. “It would be foolish to make it all the way to Las Vegas, Jon is here, Luda’s here and not play ‘Yeah!’ ” It was also said that Alicia Keys will hit the stage with the icon.
