Dipping a toe into the emerald depths of emotion, San Holo and Au/Ra have joined forces for a new single, “GLOW.”
It’s a dancefloor epiphany for Holo, who has delivered a rare four-on-the-floor record. Painted with his signature sun-kissed melodies and Au/Ra’s aching vocals, “GLOW” is a beacon in the storm, urging you to rise above the tempestuous waves of self-doubt.
The lyrics ripple with an indigo intensity, urging you to resist the plunge into a negative tailspin: “Don’t you swim in / In the sea of all your pain / Don’t you dive in / Pull the plug and let it drain.” But instead of drowning in sorrow, Au/Ra’s voice ascends like a sunrise cutting through the storm clouds as Holo’s euphoric production crackles like an ember of hope.
Out now on Helix Records, “GLOW” is Holo’s first track since the late-2023 release of his scintillating third studio album, EXISTENTIAL DANCE MUSIC. His collaboration with What So Not, “ENERGY,” was recently named one of EDM.com’s best songs of the year.
