Stranger Things is currently filming its fifth and final season, which will wrap up the story that all began in 1980s Hawkins, Indiana, and has taken us back decades before, to dive deep into the mystery of Henry Creel, who went on to become the villainous Vecna. Now we will see how the story brings us back to Will Byers, who went missing in the woods in season 1, and has struggled with his connection to the upside down ever since.

The final season is said to be the biggest yet, and it has had fans wondering if we may see some major fatalities before the show is through. So far, the main cast members have been saved from death, but one star says he thinks the show would be improved if more of them got wiped out.

In a recent interview at Megacon Orlando (via CBR), Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson on the series, said:

“It might sound messed up but we should kill more people. This show would be so much better if the stakes were much higher, like at any moment any of these kids can kick it. I feel like we’re all too safe.”

Although, to be fair, Max Mayfield, who is played by Sadie Sink in the series, was tortured pretty brutally last season, and the story ended with her in a coma. Will Byers narrowly escaped death a couple of times, and many believe he won’t make it out of the final season. Not to mention the fact that Bob (Sean Astin) and Eddie (Joseph Quinn) both died, and though they were newcomers to their seasons, they were both just as beloved to the fans as the main cast members, if not more in some cases.

We will just have to wait and see what happens in Season 5 of Stranger Things. Who do you think will kick the bucket?
