A few months ago, it was announced that after the second-life success of the series Suits on Netflix, the show’s creator, Aaron Korsh, is teaming with NBCUniversal to bring a new spinoff to the fans. The only info known about the show so far is that it will be a Los Angeles-based law drama that is promised to “have the same energy and good looking people that the original did.”
According to Puck (via CB), the lead of the spinoff is a character named Erica, described as being a “30s, Black, SoCal native, and Harvard law alum. She’s jockeying to be made Head of Entertainment. She’s great at closing clients but struggles elsewhere. Smarter than everyone.”
That’s all we know for now, but it’s smart of the creator to strike while the iron is hot. People will still be hungry for more stories in this universe after having recently finished the original show on Netflix, and it sounds like he’s going to make another series with great characters and stories.
