Monica Garcia is opening up about her time on RHOSLC and her real feelings on the show and Bravo. And her answers might surprise you.
Monica Garcia put it all on the table during her debut season of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Despite being raw and real throughout season 4, Monica kept one big secret hidden from her co-stars. So when her RHOSLC co-stars found out that she was one of the internet trolls behind the shady Reality Von Tease Instagram account, her budding reality TV career came crashing down all around her.
After learning the truth about Monica Garcia, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast made it clear that they didn’t want to film with her again; the 40-year-old only has good things to say about her rookie season on Bravo.
On the February 13 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, Two Ts In A Pod, Monica Garcia spilled the tea on her dramatic exit from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after a tumultuous and wild ride.
When asked if she’d be open to returning, Monica didn’t hesitate in admitting her eagerness to return to RHOSLC one day.
“Obviously, I would. I kind of feel like anyone that’s like, ‘No, I’m not coming back’ is lying.” Classic reality TV star speak for “I miss the drama,” Monica said.
However, Monica notes that now isn’t the time for her to return to the fold, noting that she would need to have an ally or two on the show.
Monica’s relationships with the other Salt Lake City Housewives came crumbling down after Heather Gay blew the whistle on her shady social media shenanigans.
The 40-year-old explained, “I don’t think I could go back in this — like I would have to be friends with someone. I don’t think I could go back in this situation. I mean, I would.”
According to Monica, up until the season 4 finale, she has amazing time filming the show.
“I had a wonderful experience filming. Bravo is amazing. Production was great,” she waxed nostalgic.
She also claims that co-stars Whitney Rose and Meredith Marks didn’t get the memo to snub her like the rest of the Salt Lake City Housewives.
“They were very kind to me. They were very good to me during filming,” she said.
RHOSLC producers have teased the Monica could return to the show after a “cooling off” period so her time on Bravo may not be over for good.
I have a funny feeling that Monica’s reality TV career is just beginning.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will return for season 5 in late 2024.
