Deadpool 3 has wrapped production! It’s been a long road but director Shawn Levy and his crew managed to pull it off! With all of the crazy and wild rumors, it sounds like the movie is going to end up being something special, yet absolutely bonkers.
Rayn Reynolds shared a photo from the set on social media along with a note that reads: “The suit hides the blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @RealHughJackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @ShawnLevyDirect I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th…”
There’s also a photo of Dogpool that was shared, and that photo came with a message from him, saying: “That’s a wrap on my first movie! We worked our pants off but it was worth it. Everyone on set was the utmost professional, especially Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman. And a super-hero big bow-wow-WOW to the entire crew. No matter the challenge, you rose to the task and made it look easy. I wouldn’t change a thing. Except maybe one person who was a little extra to deal with. But don’t worry, I’ve forgiven him. I even left him a very special warm, personal gift in his trailer.”
In the film, “After facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis. Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and becomes a used car salesman. But when his friends, family, and the whole world are at stake, Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement. He recruits an unwilling and wary Wolverine to not only fight for their survival, but ultimately, their legacy.”
It’s previously been rumored that Deadpool ends up being plucked from his reality by the TVA fairly early on in this story. We know the TVA is involved as they’ve appeared in set photos for the film. We’ve also previously heard that Wolverine would be reluctantly joining Deadpool on his adventure.
While we’ve seen a lot of set photos, and there have been some interesting rumors about the story and characters that will appear in the film, we still have no idea how this story is going to play out, but I have no doubt that whatever it is, it’s going to be fun.
The film also stars Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin as the villain Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. They are joined by Brianna Hildebrand, and Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend Yukio. Rob Delaney will return as Peter and Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in the movie.
