New Trailer For The Sci-Fi Action Film CODE 8 PART II Starring Robbie and Stephen Amell — GeekTyrant

Netflix has released a full trailer for Robbie and Stephen Amell’s sci-fi action thriller Code 8 Part II. This movie is a follow-up to the 2019 indie sci-fi film Code 8, which was pretty good, but this sequel looks even better. This sequel had a much bigger budget to work with.

In the movie, “Connor (Robbie Amell) is out of prison and working as a janitor at a community center, having cut ties with his former criminal associate Garrett (Stephen Amell). His attempt at staying out of trouble is destroyed when he’s forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a pack of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). King uses the newly launched robotic K9’s to track Pav down, while Connor finds himself once again reaching out to Garrett and his crew for help, but can he trust the man who landed him in prison in the first place?”

Robbie Amell previously said in a statement, “There’s nothing better than working with family and friends. Code 8 was the embodiment of that. I can’t wait to get back to work on the sequel.”

Stephen Amell added, “Code 8 is an incredibly personal and special project for all of us. We built the world in the first one and now we’re ready to blow it out!”

Code 8 Part II is written and directed by Jeff Chan as well as written by Jesse LaVercombe, Sherren Lee, and Chris Pare. Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell, Jeff Chan, and Chris Paré will once again produce the project. XYZ Films serves as executive producer.

Netflix will release Code 8: Part II starting on February 28th, 2024.
