Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga‘s feud might never come to an end, as the popular blogger recently revealed that he had made multiple attempts to reach out to the singer, but she ignored him.
Gaga and Hilton met in 2008 and became friends, and according to her, they fell out after she had an interview on his website in 2011 while promoting her album, “Born This Way,” where he asked her “terrible questions” and allegedly made her cry.

Hilton recently broke his silence on his feud with Grammy Award-winning singer Lady Gaga after a fan asked him to reconcile with her.
The interaction took place in the comment section of a Katy Perry post on Instagram, which featured an image of the “Fireworks” singer and Taylor Swift, who also famously had a feud that they have since settled.
The fan said: “[Perez Hilton] All reconciled! Come on, extend your hands back to [Lady Gaga].”
Hilton responded: “I have. She’s ignored all attempts at clearing that air and peace. It’s good. I’m good.”
Gaga and Hilton, who became friends in 2008 during her rise in the music industry, had a major falling out in 2011 during the promotion of her album, “Born This Way.” The duo threw several jabs at each other in the years that followed, with Gaga even accusing Hilton of stalking her in 2013.
Lady Gaga Speaks On Her Feud With Perez Hilton
Lady Gaga addressed her feud with Hilton on “The Howard Stern Show,” where she revealed that he made her cry during an interview on his website.
Gaga said, “What happened was we were doing an interview, I took two days out of my schedule when I was on a world tour to do an interview for him. In the middle of the interview, he started asking me really terrible questions. He was very negative about Born This Way and we had a lot to drink.”
She added, “He was supposed to be my friend and I felt betrayed, so I started crying. Then, my friend had to come in and pull the camera out. They wouldn’t turn the cameras off.”
Gaga told Stern that Hilton apologized but explained that she “felt like it was like, ‘But I’m Perez Hilton so I’m allowed to treat you this way.”
“I looked at him and said, ‘Just because you are who you are, does not mean that our friendship doesn’t mean anything when the cameras turn on. So, now I see who you really are,’ and I was done after that. I was really there for him and I really supported him,” Gaga continued, per The Sun.
She also noted at the time that Hilton was “just mad that I don’t want to hang out anymore because I don’t want to be around fake people.”
Perez Hilton Fired Back At Lady Gaga
Following her interview with Stern, Perez took to X (Twitter then) to call out the singer, claiming she was the “fake” one.
He wrote, “[Lady Gaga] So you called ME fake on the [Howard Stern Show] this morning. Ha! Thanks for the laugh! Have you looked in the mirror lately??? xoxo.”
“I was the one who pulled away from u after I realized what a real-life vampire you are! It’s been your MO your whole career,” he added.
Things took a turn for the worse between the former friends in 2013 when Hilton began looking for an apartment near Gaga’s New York City residence.
Taking to X at the time, Gaga wrote, “STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!! DO I NEED TO BE SHOT IT IN THE HEAD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIM AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT HARASSES ME HAS GONE TOO FAR? I’M A HUMAN BEING.”
The “Bad Romance” singer added, “Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident.”
Perez Hilton Claimed The Singer’s Stalker Accusations Endangered Him
Hilton responded to Gaga’s accusations on his website, noting that he was “devastated” and “hurt” that his former friend was making “very untrue allegations” about him on Twitter.
He added, “Any allegation that I am stalking her, based on a day of house hunting with my baby boy and my mother, is utterly false, defamatory and now appears to be putting me and my family in danger. The REAL Lady GaGa is very VERY different from the one you pretend to be publicly. And that’s the truth, on my dead dad’s grave!!
Over the years, the singer has not spoken about Hilton. However, the blogger mentioned Gaga in his 2020 memoir “TMI: My Life In Scandal,” claiming that she manipulated him into attacking her “rivals.”
According to The Sun, Hilton said, “She never explicitly asked me to write nasty things about people, but by moaning to me she made me feel like I, her best friend, should do something about it.”
He later spoke about their friendship during an appearance on talkRADIOs Drivetime Show: “After Gaga and I had our falling out, it became apparent to me, wow, she was just using me. When she didn’t need me anymore after she became the biggest pop star on the planet, she tossed me aside – that hurt.”
Hilton noted that many years have passed and now looks back on that period with “pride.”
