A new report reveals that RHOBH couple Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are nowhere closer to divorcing despite being separated for more than six months.
“Neither of them wants to pull the trigger [and file for divorce],” an insider tells Us Weekly.
The source notes that the RHOBH duo’s hesitancy doesn’t have anything to do with money as they do not have a prenup.
“They don’t have a prenup, so Kyle will be getting half of everything, but that doesn’t bother Mauricio.”
While Kyle and Mauricio haven’t filed for divorce yet their is very little chance of them reconciling.
“It feels so final,” the insider admits, adding that the two are “in an OK place” despite their separation.
“They share space, and it’s working for them now,” the source said.
As fans know, Kyle and Mauricio’s marital woes came to a head on Wednesday’s RHOBH season 13 finale episode.
The RHOBH OG admitted that she doesn’t have much hope for the future of her marriage.
“I’ve come to realize that, you know, there’s a big chance that we’re not gonna end up together,” she said in her RHOBH confessional.
When asked by a producer what happened in her marriage, Kyle revealed that she “lost trust” in Mauricio.
“There were things that happened that made me lose my trust that I wasn’t able to recover from,” Kyle said in her final confession of the season. “I just want to be at peace wherever I’m at because I haven’t really had that. Am I done? It’s over.”
RHOBH fans can expect to get more insight into Kyle and Mauricio’s split and plans for the future a the upcoming season 13 reunion.
In a preview for the season 13 reunion, Kyle addresses questions about divorce and either her or Mauricio moving out of their Encino mansion, where they both continue to live despite their split.
Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their split in September 2023 after news of their separation made waves in the Bravoverse following a July report from PEOPLE.
The RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
