Yeat‘s new album 2093 is projected to top the charts in its first week out, nudging Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s Vultures 1 down a notch to the No. 2 spot for its second week.

According to a report from Hits Daily Double on Friday (February 23), 2093 is expected to move approximately 72,597 equivalent units in its first week of release, and will arrive at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when the newest chart is announced later this weekend.

Vultures 1, which debuted at No. 1 on last week’s chart, will likely arrive at No. 2 this week with just a few thousand less units at 72,418.

Yeat has made it clear that he doesn’t plan on doing music forever, and he’s going out in a blaze of glory.

The Portland native took to his Instagram stories on Thursday (February 22) to reveal that he’s got quite a bit of music for his devoted fans to enjoy — but also made it clear that the party isn’t going to last forever.

“Imma give yall a year of music then Imma tuck away and work on something life changing, ok,” he wrote.

He didn’t specify, however, what that “life changing” thing will be.

Fans, however, can rest easy knowing that the first of Yeat’s new music is already out and features contributions from Hip Hop icons like Future and Lil Wayne.

The Portland-born artist dropped 2093 — which he has been teasing for quite some time — on February 16.

Over three months prior, he hinted at the follow-up to 2023’s Aftërlyfe  by editing a caption on an Instagram post to read: “…..#2093…??????#ceo…..”

Yeat has been promoting the upcoming album by projecting videos that offer a “better life” at iconic locations including the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. He even promoted the album with a crop circle outside of Kansas City, Missouri.

Though Weezy and Future Hendrix are the only artists featured on 2093, Yeat has recently been in the studio with a number of other rap luminaries.

At the end of last month, the “My wrist” rapper posted a carousel of images, one of which featured him in the studio with Childish Gambino and another included a FaceTime screenshot with “IDGAF” collaborator Drake.

2093 continues Yeat’s trend of including very few collaborators on his albums. On Aftërlyfe, the only guest features are Yeat’s alter egos Kranky Kranky and Luh Geeky, and NBA YoungBoy.
