Boosie Badazz just had quite the scare with his ongoing diabetes management, though his condition is now stable.

Taking to Instagram Live to talk to his followers about the harrowing ordeal on Monday (February 26), the Baton Rouge native explained how being slightly forgetful for even a moment almost could have some serious repercussions on his well-being.

“My sugar was real low, man,” he began. “I woke up sweating, running all over the room. Having a sugar attack this morning, my sugar dropped. Lucky, I had some leftover food in there. I forgot my glucose thing, bruh. I had a crazy day.

“I left my ankle monitor charger, I left my insulin. I had to fly [my boy] up here with that. I got my little girls with me, so I be tripping sometimes. And then when he finally got to me at like 12:30 at night last night, it was high so I had to take a big dosage.”

He continued: “And I must have took too much last night [because] it dropped on me this morning. It was scary this morning. I took too much insulin last night. My body tired now. When I have a sugar attack, all my energy be gone. Shit take everything out of me.”

Boosie Badazz’s diabetes has been tough on him for years. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was once forced to end a concert early in New York City due to not taking his medication, which he said was due to a mishap involving his luggage in transit.

During his trip, a bag holding his medication was accidentally sent to Philadelphia, meaning he was unable to get his insulin shot prior to performing. As a result, Boosie was seen vomiting on stage during the 2015 show before rushing off.

He previously opened up about the condition, saying he still struggled to manage the disease at times.

“This diabetes shit is hard. I’ve been fighting this sickness since 19 N still can’t shake this shit !! Woke up sick af y’all keep me n yall prayers,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories in January.

To make matters worse, Boosie was also disagnosed with cancer back in November 2015, though he celebrated being cancer-free last year.

“Stayed up all night praying for these results #cancerfree,” he wrote on social media. “God great but he test your faith all the time.”
