Knocked Loose, one of the biggest hardcore bands in the world right now, have announced their new album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To. It marks the Louisville band’s first full-length since 2019’s A Different Shade of Blue and arrives May 10 via Pure Noise Records.
The album features guest spots from Motionless In White frontman Chris Motionless and post-genre auteur Poppy, signaling to fans of the long-running hardcore crew that they were hungry to spread their creative wings on this LP.

However, despite their soaring popularity, Knocked Loose still sound heavy as ever. Their new record’s lead single, “Blinding Faith,” a monstrous, clobbering dose of moshy hardcore. Lyrically, it’s a spiky invective aimed at religious hypocrisy, inspired partially by the band’s own upbringings in church settings.
“It was just hilarious how many people showed up to church that I knew were rude, horrible, selfish people,” guitarist Isaac Hale says. “They knew that it made them seem like a better person — or if they said the words, it would redeem them of any negative quality just because they showed face.”
