Actress Gabourey Sidibe is proud to announce that she and her husband have a “twin delivery coming soon!”
The Oscar-nominated actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, February 27, to share a few photos unveiling her pregnancy with husband Brandon Frankel. Sidibe teamed up with Babylist to make the big announcement.
Photos show the “Precious” star wearing a pink dress while her husband cradles her baby bump. Another photo shows her and Frankel each standing behind a stroller, and looking into a mirror as Frankel caresses her tummy full of twins.
“I’m pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we’re giving them each a baby to take care of!” she captioned her post. “Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!! Twin Delivery coming soon! Twinty Twinty Four!!”
The pregnancy follows Sidibe’s marriage reveal December 2022 on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” It turns out, the couple tied the knot just four months after getting engaged. The “American Horror Story” alum explained her reason for not opting for a big wedding.
“The thing about weddings is I don’t like them. I don’t like them. Here’s an example of how much I don’t like them: I’m actually married. We got married over a year ago,” she revealed.
Following Sidibe’s televised marriage reveal Frankel followed up with an Instagram announcement confirming their nuptials.
“SURPRISE! I can finally call her my WIFE publicly! Since @gabby3shabby finally spilled the beans today on Live with Kelly and Ryan- we’ve been MARRIED since March ‘21!” he captioned his post.
“Relieved we can finally tell the world. So thankful to have found my forever person, my partner-in-crime, and the love of my life. Every day is the best day with you. Nobody I would rather raise cats with and be in bed by a smooth 8pm with. Love you forever.”
