Braunwyn Windham-Burke‘s son, Jacob Windham-Burke, is following in his sister’s footsteps and speaking out against the Real Housewives of Orange County alum.
After Rowan Windham-Burke slammed Braunwyn, 46, labeling her a “narcissist” as she defended her dad, Sean Burke, 57, and accusing both her and her grandmother, Deborah Windham, of lies, Jacob took to his Instagram Story, where he shaded Braunwyn as an abuser and manipulator and suggested she threatened to sue him for liable if he spoke up.
“Hi! It’s Jacob, Braunwyn’s son, I’m the one who did drag on the show … My mother is an abuser, liar, and manipulator,” Jacob wrote in a February 28 message. “I believe in [second] chances, but not 20th chances … My mom will not be happy about me writing this, [to be honest] I am quite scared, but she has been harassing my dad for many years now, and last time she called me she just yelled at me for talking to my dad’s [girlfriend], so [I don’t know] … Bye, gunna log off of Insta for another [three] years.”
In a second post, Jacob alluded to his mother’s potential legal threat as he said he didn’t approve of their public battle.
“This is just my opinion by the way, so don’t sue me. (She totally might have allegedly said she would sue for liable) … I’m only taking this online, since she did, there’s a lot more private, and hopefully we keep it private since nobody besides the family need to be involved,” he shared. “I think it is very inappropriate for anything to be posted, for both me and her … I’ve tried to have real conversations with her over the past years and she either denied my problems, said what I saw and experienced weren’t true, or dodged an apology … Not much has changed. Bye for real, again my opinion.”
As Jacob spoke out on his Story, Deborah, who Rowan suggested had sided with her mother, shared a post that defined narcissism.
“A narcissist, by definition, is someone with a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy,” her post stated, also saying that the best way to “deal with a narcissist” is to “stay below [their] radar.”
In the caption of Deborah’s post, she appeared to be speaking out against someone in particular, although she didn’t call anyone out by name.
“PSA, if you, or someone you know, is living with a narcissist, maybe, you are unaware. It’s a devastating experience to find out someone is narcissistic,” she stated. “12 things-they are manipulative, they lie, they weaponize their children, belittle you, have zero boundaries even with their children, have to have the last word, retaliate when under pressure, prey on insecure people, are grandiose, never take accountability, turn everything around and accuse others of being narcissists, and they create codependent and anxious/insecure/depressed kids and spouses.”
Deborah then seemed to shade Sean as she mentioned a “narcissistic father.”
“[Five percent] of people are narcissists. That’s 5/100!” she added. “And it’s unholy to involve children. Narcissists don’t care, they hate you more than they love their kids.”
