A celebrity mother and daughter are reportedly feuding over the same man! According to PEOPLE, singer Noah Cyrus and her mom Tish Cyrus are beefing after Tish married Dominic Purcell, an actor Noah was reportedly seeing before things ended and he moved on with her mother. The outlet reported that Tish knew about Noah and Purcell before those two called it quits and he married Tish.

A source close to the family told PEOPLE on Friday (March 1) that Noah, 24, “was offended” when her 56-year-old mother married the 54-year-old ‘Prison Break’ actor — after he and the singer had previously “hooked up.”
The source said, “Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up. Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.”

Even though Noah and Purcell had stopped seeing one another before he moved on with her mother, the source claimed “Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.”
Meanwhile, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Tish consciously chose not to warn her youngest daughter about her budding romance and plans to marry Purcell. In return, Noah felt “offended” and got upset.

Before the latest reports, Us Weekly first broke the news about drama brewing within the Cyrus family. An insider claimed, “Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him. The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.”
Noah was so upset that she didn’t attend her mother’s August 2023 wedding, at which her sister Miley Cyrus, 31, served as the maid of honor. That day, Noah was spotted in Walmart with her brother Braison. It’s reported that the move wasn’t just Noah rebelling, but that her own mother reportedly didn’t want her or Braison at the big event.

A source for ET claimed, “Tish was the one who did not invite Noah and Braison Cyrus to her wedding, and blocked them on Instagram after she pursued Dominic. It was Tish who requested security at her wedding to keep Noah and Braison out.”
Despite Noah being reportedly upset over her mother marrying her ex, she’s since moved on and got engaged to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023 — two months after her mother and her ex got engaged.

Before her latest marriage, Tish was previously married to Noah, Miley and Braison’s father, singer and actor Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, who has also remarried. They were together for more than 28 years with a blended family. Aside from their three aforementioned children, Billy Ray adopted Tish’s older children, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 35, when they wed in 1993. Billy Ray also had a son, Christopher, 31, when they tied the knot.
Tish and Billy Ray would face marriage woes, experiencing on-and-off periods, but eventually, Tish filed for divorce in April 2022, claiming their marriage fell apart during the pandemic when she stayed in California to be near the children, leaving Billy Ray in Tennessee.
