Amid the rumors, Kim Zolciak reveals that she is NOT returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 16. Get the scoop!
“So I wanted to clear up what’s going on since I don’t want to leave you hanging any longer. The truth is (drum roll please)…I am not returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kim Zolciak confirmed to Celebuzz.
“As much as I enjoyed holding a peach for years and enjoyed popping in now and then, I will not be returning to that show. I am sorry to disappoint those who were holding out hope that I’d return and they’d get to watch me in action again this season,” she added.
However, the Bravolebrity did not rule out the possibility of returning to reality TV soon.
She teased, “However, that doesn’t mean you’ve seen the last of me yet on TV, so stay tuned for more on that in the near future.”
“Thank you to all my fans always for all your love and support,” Kim Zolciak concluded. “It means more than you know.”
Last week, Media Take Out reported that Kim Zolciak was returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 16 and that she was planning to bring tons of drama with her.
The report came to light after the RHOA OG shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories in which she included a camera emoji. Many Bravo fans believed the post was Kim’s way of teasing her return to Real Housewives.
A source claimed that Bravo and Kim came to a salary agreement that worked for both of them. The source also alleged that Bravo was in talks with the 44-year-old’s estranged husband Kroy Biermann to have him film for season 16.
Kim Zolciak is a founding cast member of RHOA. She starred on the show from its inception in 2008 until season 5 in 2013. The 44-year-old went on to star in her own family-based spinoff show, Don’t Be Tardy.
Don’t Be Tardy ran for eight seasons before being canceled by Bravo in 2020.
The longtime Bravo star is currently engulfed in a bitter divorce with her husband, Kroy. The two are facing major financial issues, including owing over a million dollars to the IRS. They are also on the verge of losing their Alpharetta, Georgia mansion.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for season 16 in 2024.
