Vanderpump Rules is in a really weird space as some of the cast members are at odds thanks to the scandal from last season. Now, it seems Scheana Shay is letting her feelings be known about being left out. Recently, she made some rather shady comments about Ariana Madix being on Dancing With The Stars.
As many fans know, Ariana received a well-deserved outpouring of support following Tom cheating on her with Rachel. One opportunity that came her way was competing on season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, where she made it to the finale. Of course, most of her castmates supported her.
Scheana and Lisa were discussing the support Ariana has received in a preview for Vanderpump Rules. Scheana admitted to Lisa that she felt hurt that Ariana was invited to be on Dancing With the Stars. Apparently, she is a dancer and has wanted to be on the show for a while.
She says, “This year, I started taking dance class. I was preparing in case I did get it. It was kind of a punch to the gut, for sure.”
Scheana continues, “I am so happy for her. But I can be happy for her and sad for me at the same time.”
However, Scheana then becomes a bit shady as she makes a mean comment toward Ariana.
She says, “And, like, good for her. She has come such a long way from being my backup dancer.”
Scheana also previously discussed Ariana being on DWTS while talking to Lala. She said, “Even her getting Dancing With the Stars, she knew how bad I wanted that. And I told her, ‘I am so genuinely happy for you. I will be there every f—king Monday that you want me there. She does deserve everything she is getting right now, and I am so happy for her that she did not go down a dark spiral. I just am hurting still.”
She then went on to say, “Why can I never have one moment where it can be about me? I am hurt. I lost a very, very dear friend. I am struggling with that. But I am not allowed to feel anything because it is only about Ariana. I am tired.”
The preview of the episode also shows Tom getting back from a trip and remarking on how things are improving. He feels that “the stench of the scandal is starting to wear off.” According to him, people are “humanizing” him, and he feels “optimistic.”
Vanderpump Rules airs on Tuesdays on Bravo.
