Lisa Rinna is under fire after sharing a magazine cover that featured her 22-year-old daughter, model Amelia Hamlin, baring her nipples through a wet shirt on her Instagram page.
After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 60, posted the photo, along with others that featured Amelia smoking, “kissing” herself in the mirror, and pouring milk down her body, she was met with stern messages from her fans and followers, many of whom were completely disgusted.
“CR FASHION BOOK!!!!! @AmeliaGray for @CRFashionBook Issue 24 Spring/Summer 2024 Go Amelia!!!” Lisa wrote in the caption of her slideshow of images from the magazine, telling her online audience that the publication would be hittingnewsstands on March 29.
Unsurprisingly, social media users didn’t hesitate to react to Lisa’s post with one person saying that while the images were “pretty,” the “[first] photo [was] not necessary.”
This prompted Lisa to respond.
“It’s a cover Donna shut up,” she wrote.
But that didn’t stop others from shaming her for sharing the racy images of her adult child.
“This is you posting your kid?!” one person asked.
“I think this is appalling. I sure wouldn’t want my daughter to show her body like that to the world to see. Not to mention her father to see,” said another, signaling to Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin, 72.
“I’m sorry but no. Nope. Creepy AF,” someone else stated. “The staging really gives me the ick. Not [at your] daughter but for your daughter. Ugh.”
“The pics are great but why glamorize smoking?” wondered another Instagram user.
Others were taken aback by the milk image specifically.
“I like this family but am disappointed about the milk photo for a woman that age. One nil to the [misogynistic] patriarchy,” a person said as another noted, “Tasteless for sure.”
“This doesn’t look like fashion it looks like a cry for help,” another stated.
“So cringe,” said someone else.
As RHOBH fans may recall, Lisa also came under fire for sharing a “disturbing” image of her daughter in March of last year as she posed in a bikini and fake mustache for The Perfect Magazine.
“Disturbing to say the least. Last thing I want my daughters seeing, really! Get your head checked,” one person told Lisa after seeing the image.
“I’m a big fan of yours Lisa but having a young daughter myself I find this image really disturbing! She is so extremely thin and obviously she has had cosmetic procedures which at her age is really sad,” another stated.
Lisa Rinna and her family were featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from season five through season 12.
