Netflix has revealed a wacky trailer for a crazy-looking Korean comedy series titled Chicken Nugget. The series is described as a “bizarre comic-mystery drama” series and as you’ll see, it goes to some really weird and completely unexpected places.
The bonkers synopsis reads: “A clucking comedy out of this world. A beloved woman suddenly turns into a Dakgangjeong (sweet & sour chicken) after entering a mysterious machine. This is only the beginning of a series of unpredictable events. A tearful and comic mystery of two men struggling to save their lover / daughter.”
It’s explained: “The shock, panic and comedic desperation of Sun-man & Baek-joong as they try to comprehend the situation and figure out how to restore Min-ah to her human form is palpable. How will this duo untangle themselves from their predicament?”
The series takes you “on a rollercoaster ride with Sun-man (Ryu Seung-ryong) as he navigates an absurd mission: To rescue his daughter, Min-ah (Kim You-jung), who has turned into a chicken nugget after a mishap with a strange machine. Along for the wild ride is Baek-joong (Ahn Jae-hong), who has a secret crush on Min-ah.”
