Erika Jayne offered an update on her son, Tommy Zizzo, sharing if he has plans to start a family during an interview days ago.
Ahead of the premiere of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde, Erika, 52, revealed how Tommy, a police officer who has never appeared alongside her on Bravo, is doing as she also weighed in on Dorit Kemsley, 47, leaking Kyle Richards‘ text message at the season 13 reunion.
“He’s great,” Erika told The Daily Dish of Tommy last week. “He’s really good.”
Not much is known about Tommy, including his exact age. However, the outlet noted that he’s “in his 30’s” as Erika shared if he wants children.
“We’ve never discussed that,” she admitted. “I don’t think that’s part of his journey.”
Erika has described herself as a stern parent but during an interview with The Daily Dish years ago, she confirmed she and Tommy are very much in touch and friendly.
“He’s grown. I am [and] will forever be his mother. And, you know, I still have to cook when he comes over,” she noted. “[He’s like,] ‘Can I take a shower?’ ‘Yes, you may take a shower.’ But it’s nice, too, for him to be grown.”
During a separate interview, regarding Dorit’s decision to leak Kyle’s private message, Erika was asked if she felt it was wrong of her castmate to do so.
“It’s a tough question because it’s personal and it sucks,” Erika told Us Weekly on February 29. “And that’s why you see me say, ‘I hate this.’ I hate every minute of this. I don’t want to see this. I don’t want to know this. And then that will have to be sorted out between the two of them.”
As Kyle’s text was read at the reunion, Dorit accused Kyle of sending it in an effort to “silence” her.
“It was so manipulative, it was so calculated,” she told Erika, who agreed she would have “[felt] manipulated” if she had gotten the message.
As RHOBH fans may have seen, Teddi Mellencamp, 42, and Bethenny Frankel, 53, both spoke out against Dorit, with Teddi saying on Two Ts in a Pod that she felt “disgusted” that Dorit “would do that to a friend” and Bethenny slamming the gesture as a “violation.”
As for what the future holds for Dorit and Kyle, Erika thinks they’ll make amends.
“I think they both really care for each other. I think that it’s been a tough year for both of them for different reasons,” she reasoned. “Provided two people really want to repair and move forward, you can. I’ve seen it done in this group many times. I’ve done it myself, and I know that they really care about each other.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion continues with part three on Wednesday, March 13, at 8/7c on Bravo, followed by the premiere of Erika’s spinoff, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde.
