RHOC star Alexis Bellino and John Janssen reveal their relationship is forever just months after their fast and furious romance took the Bravoverse by storm.
The reality TV couple teased that an engagement is in the works while chatting with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast about the next chapter in their love story.
“I cannot picture my life without her,” John revealed when asked if he plans to propose to the Real Housewives of Orange County alum.
Alexis agrees, suspecting that John will get down on one knee in the very near future.
“I think probably,” she said, hinting that they have discussed marriage but aren’t sold on letting the Bravo cameras film their future wedding.
“I mean, we’re not airing [it] probably,” Alexis said.
The two also insisted that they aren’t trying to hurt John’s ex-girlfriend Shannon Beador with their relationship.
“Of course, I don’t want Shannon to hurt. I wish her nothing but the best, but I’m focused on Alexis, her, and I,” he said, noting, “At some point, it’s not about Shannon.”
Alexis added, “I personally care [how Beador feels]. Yes, we do care. We don’t want to hurt [her]. We’re not here to hurt anybody.”
“We didn’t plan on meeting each other,” John said, “but it happened, and I’m really happy it did.”
The returning RHOC alum also reveals that she does her best to ignore the opinions of the OC Housewives regarding her relationship with John.
“We honestly don’t listen to the noise,” she said.
“This is our first big night out. We’re finally at the point where we’re like, ‘OK, you know what? America needs to understand that this is us, and we’re moving forward, and we are talking future,’” she continued. “We’re not just stopping now. So everybody better hold on for the ride. Put on your seatbelt!”
This all comes just days after John went public with Alexis on his Instagram.
Back in December, Alexis confirmed that she was dating Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. Since then, Alexis has publicly gushed over John and their love on social media.
However, John has remained silent about their relationship until now.
Recently, John Janssen went Instagram official with the returning RHOC star after several months of dating.
John took to Instagram to share a Reel of photos featuring Alexis. In the romantic photos, the pair is seen cuddled up on a boat. In the caption of the post, the OC businessman revealed that the photos were snapped by his and Alexis’ children.
“We love each other…but more importantly, we laugh…A LOT,” John wrote alongside the video montage. He added the hashtags: “#live #laugh #love.”
Naturally, Alexis reposted the PDA-filled post to her own Instagram feed and added the song “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle.
In November, the RHOC alum met John at The Quiet Woman while hanging out with mutual friends. They quickly struck up a friendship but publicly denied anything romantic was going on between them.
However, in the blink of an eye Alexis Bellino and John Janssen were a full-fledged couple flaunting their relationship all over Orange County and social media.
By Christmas, the new couple were already sprouting “I love yous” both publicly and privately.
In fact, on Christmas day, Alexis Bellino gushed about her “love” for John on Instagram while showing off a ring she received from him as a gift.
“Words cannot. Actions do. I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create its own story. I love you, Johnny J #lovewins #notengaged #promised #merrychristmas,” Alexis Bellino shared.
Days later Alexis gushed about her and John’s love while also boasting about the Orange County businessman’s “hotness” in a separate Instagram post.
“Johnny J, let everyone talk. But you have shown me love that I’ve never know. I love you,” she wrote at the time.
Alexis is currently in the midst of filming season 18 of RHOC alongside John’s ex-girlfriend Shannon Beador. John and Shannon began dating in 2019 before splitting in late 2022 after filming wrapped for season 17 of RHOC. The exes waited until January 2023 to make their split public knowledge, but by June, Bravo fans were questioning if John and Shannon were back together as they were spotted hanging out on several occasions.
Many fans believed Shannon and John were once again a couple by September 2023; however, that theory went out the window when, only a few months later, he was rumored to be romancing Alexis.
The complex dynamic between Shannon and Alexis is sure to play out during season 18 of RHOC. I for one can’t wait to watch it all go down. I’m betting there will be a moment when Shannon confronts John and Alexis about their relationship.
RHOC will return for season 18 in 2024.
