Dorit Kemsley claims she is not the one who leaked the text message Kyle Richards sent to her ahead of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.
After slamming Kyle’s message as manipulative backstage at the January reunion taping, Dorit, 47, said that she was not the one to expose it as she also took aim at Crytal Kung-Minkoff, 40, shading her castmate’s desperate attempt at staying on the show and accusing Crystal of trash-talking her supposed show friends behind their backs.
“The day before the reunion, you send me a message and it was, ‘Let’s not mention anything here,’ and, ‘Let’s stick together.’ It’s out there now so you can see it,” Dorit began on the March 13 episode of The Skinny Confidential: Him & Her Podcast. “It just felt like an even bigger slap in the face and I just thought to myself, ‘I’m not a doormat. Yes, I have a kind heart. But I really care about you and I really believe that we’re friends. This is not the way you treat a friend.’”
According to Dorit, there was “no way” she was going to go into the reunion and not address the clear strain between her and Kyle. However, she never planned to expose Kyle’s private message to her.
“I discussed it with [Erika Jayne] in the trailer before the reunion and someone leaked the text message. It was not me,” she clarified. “I don’t know who did but I have an idea. Listen, it’s gonna be the powers that be because they’re the ones that had the text message.”
As for Crystal, Dorit said her co-star was lying when she accused her of forcing everyone to wait “two hours” at the reunion as she did TikToks backstage.
“It’s a bold-faced lie. And she knows it. I can’t believe how proficient she is at lying. She knows full well that I had a wardrobe malfunction and the brilliant wardrobe team had to sew me into the dress,” Dorit noted. “The TikToks that I did, and you can even see in the TikToks, it’s dark, was after the reunion. The first part of the TikTok where I’m in my trailer in jeans, was probably even before half of the cast even got to set.
Dorit went on to suspect that Crytsal’s behavior is the result of her desperation to stay on the RHOBH cast.
“Crystal is trying desperately to salvage another year,” Dorit shared.
“She’s told me a lot of things. I’m never going to share what she shared in confidence, but it’s very interesting seeing how she’s behaving, especially when she’s aligned with her so-called best friends on the show. And yet she’s had the worst things you could imagine to say about them behind their backs,” she continued. “You know, that combined with seeing her make up these lies, it really shows me the kind of person she is.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 will reportedly begin filming in April.
