From Software has finally revealed the trailer for Elden Ring’s upcoming DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. I still haven’t played through the entirety of Elden Ring yet, as I’m still in the middle of my long journey. But, of course, I’m going to get this DLC because it looks like a freakin’ epic expansion!
There’s a lot packed into this trailer! It sets the scene in the Land of Shadow, which is a new world to for players to explore that is filled with new bosses, weapons and armor. The action-packed preview also includes all kinds of new creatures and gnarly landscapes.

The Golden Order has been broken.
Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the ELDEN RING and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between.
In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the ELDEN RING, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered.
Marika’s offspring, demigods all, claimed the shards of the ELDEN RING known as the Great Runes, and the mad taint of their newfound strength triggered a war: The Shattering. A war that meant abandonment by the Greater Will.
And now the guidance of grace will be brought to the Tarnished who were spurned by the grace of gold and exiled from the Lands Between. Ye dead who yet live, your grace long lost, follow the path to the Lands Between beyond the foggy sea to stand before the ELDEN RING.
And become the Elden Lord.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and on PC via Steam on June 21. Pre-orders are available now with the base edition of the DLC priced at $40 USD, the premium bundle arriving at a price of $50 USD and the collector’s edition costing $250 USD.
