RHOM’s Larsa Pippen Defends Daughter’s Hefty Allowance

Larsa Pippen’s mama bear claws have come out to play. The RHOM OG defends giving her 15-year-old daughter a whopping $2500 a month allowance.

The Miami Housewife confirmed and defended giving her daughter the hefty allowance during the RHOM season 6 reunion. She claims that Los Angeles where her 15-year-old daughter Sophia lives with her dad, Scottie Pippen, is very expensive.

“You guys understand, like, LA is super expensive. So, like, after school, she orders food or Uber or, like, you know, buys presents for her friends’ birthdays,” she said at the RHOM reunion.

Larsa Pippen also clarified that Sophia still “makes money” on her own through deals with different fashion brands.

She also claimed that Sophia “makes money” on her own through brand deals with different fashion brands on social media.

“She literally makes money, you know?” she said.

On the other hand, fellow RHOM star Kiki Barth gives her son a $300 monthly allowance.

“I think that one thing we can all say, you know, about Larsa, she can have many faults, but she’s a good mom, you know?” Adriana de Moura interjected.

Earlier on in season 6 of RHOM, Larsa revealed that Sophia had moved to Los Angeles to attend high school and live with her dad.

“Sophia is a freshman in high school. She wanted to go to school in LA this year,” she explained on a January episode.

She noted that it’s “hard” to continue living in Miami and be away from her daughter but admitted its “OK.”

“For me, Miami is home. Like, that’s where my heart and my soul is, and Sophia loves being in LA, and so it’s OK. You know, her dad is there. She kind of goes back and forth, and she’s happy. That’s the only thing that I care about,” she shared.

In addition to Sophia, Larsa and her ex-husband, Scottie also share sons Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, Justin, 18. The exes were married from 1996 until 2018. They separated for a bit in 2016 before reconciling; however, by 2018, their marriage was officially over. Larsa and Scottie’s divorce was finalized in 2021.

The Real Housewives of Miami will return for season 7 in late 2024 or early 2025.
