Jonathan Majors took the time to address the new lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari and said he isn’t “surprised” by the news.
As we previously shared, Jabbari filed a civil complaint and sued the actor for defamation and other alleged injuries. While running into TMZ after working out his trainer the actor revealed that he’s getting his body right for a new movie role. During the conversation, Majors also spoke about his relationship with his boo Meagan Good and explained why things are different with her rather than his past relationships.

Once the Creed actor was asking about the new lawsuit that Grave Jabbari filed he responded by saying, “I’m not surprised, I knew it was coming from the beginning. I am ready to put it behind me I can’t say much else about it though.”
As we previously reported, Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend Grace Jabbari. According to multiple reports a split verdict was made where Majors, 34, was found guilty of one misdemeanor assault charge and one harassment violation. He was acquitted of a different assault charge and of aggravated harassment.
Following the conviction Marcel and Disney immediately dropped Majors from all upcoming projects. Majors had earlier planned to be a central figure throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing the antagonist role of Kang. Majors had already appeared in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and the first two seasons of “Loki.” He was to star in “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” dated for release in May 2026, but was dropped from those roles.

Despite the conviction, Majors firmly denied twisting Jabbari’s arm in his first interview with ABC News after his conviction and expressed confidence that he did not cause the injuries she sustained. He claimed to be unaware of how those injuries occurred, maintaining his innocence regarding the specific acts he was charged with.
“She went to grab the phone. I held the phone. I pulled the phone back. She came on top of me, squeezed my face, slapped me. That’s all I remember,” he said. As for how her injuries occurred, Majors said, “I wish to god I knew. That would give clarity. That would give me some type of peace about it,” he said.
