As we previously reported, actor Jonathan Majors is facing a new lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, who is suing him over alleged assault and other incidents that she claims occurred during their relationship. The lawsuit sheds light on a series of events that Jabbari says took place prior to the March 2023 incident that led to Majors’ criminal conviction.
According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, Jabbari details instances of abuse she claims to have endured at the hands of Majors dating back to 2021, shortly after they began dating. She describes a pattern of behavior that escalated over time, including verbal attacks and physical violence. Jabbari alleges that Majors became increasingly volatile, with incidents such as throwing her into a shower wall and throwing objects at her in fits of anger. Miss Jabbari also claims that Majors assaulted her multiple times in London while he was filming “Loki,” citing instances where simple actions like having guests over or talking on the phone would trigger his anger. She alleges that Majors would destroy her belongings and physically harm her, including slamming her head against a marble floor and strangling her.
The lawsuit revisits the March 2023 incident in which Jabbari accuses Majors of hitting her in a car during an argument. She alleges that he twisted her fingers and threw her back into the vehicle forcefully. Although Majors was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December, Jabbari is now pursuing further legal action, including a defamation claim against him for allegedly tarnishing her reputation by denying her allegations in interviews. In response to the lawsuit, Jonathan Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, stated to @tmz_tv, “This is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.”

Majors has always maintained that he is innocent. In his first interview since a jury found him guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Jonathan Majors said he was “shocked and afraid” upon hearing the verdict.
He said back in January, “I’m standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, ‘How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?” the actor told ABC News during a sit-down interview a month after his conviction.
Despite his legally defeat, he said “I’m really blessed. I’m surrounded by people who love me, who care about me. But this has been very, very, very hard, and very difficult, and confusing in many ways,” Majors said. “But I’m standing.”
The legal battle between the two parties continues as they navigate the complexities of the allegations and seek resolution in the ongoing dispute.
