RHOC alum Kelly Dodd calls out Kyle Richards for using her alleged romantic relationship with Morgan Wade for a storyline.
Ever since Kyle Richards announced her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023, rumors have been flying that she is in a romantic relationship with her friend and country singer, Morgan Wade.
While Kyle and Morgan have both denied they are anything more than friends, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG recently teased that she was “curious” about kissing a woman and that she’d be open to dating another female.
Well, the whole situation has rubbed Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd the wrong way. In fact the former reality star thinks its “atrocious” that Kyle has played up her friendship with Morgan for a storyline on RHOBH.
“She’s really annoying to me right now. I like her. I like her as an individual. But that whole thing is just, it’s annoying to me,” Kelly Dodd told The U.S. Sun.
The RHOC alum continued: “It’s like she’s doing it for the cameras and I find it atrocious really because her kids and her daughters, it’s very hurtful to them.”
“Just come out and say it! Don’t lead everybody on thinking that you are a lesbian,” Kelly remarked.
When asked if Kyle Richards might be hesitant to reveal her relationship with Morgan due to backlash or public opinion, Kelly said, “No, I don’t think she really cares what people think of her because she’s been on TV her whole life.”
“She knows the ins and outs and what it entails, and I think that she is just annoying, that’s all – her and Dorit [Kemsley]. It’s like for the cameras. Like, it’s contrived.”
As for whether or not she thinks Kyle and Mauricio will ever officially get divorced, Kelly Dodd said, “I don’t see them getting divorced because I think there’s too much money at stake.”
“Go have your separate lives, but you don’t want to divide everything.”
Kyle and Mauricio are said to be working on their marital issues in therapy but Kyle recently revealed that Mauricio is planning to move out of their family home soon.
The RHOBH OG has also stated that she doesn’t want to remain married in namesake only and that she and Mauricio will get divorced if they can’t make their marriage work.
