Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red kick it into high gear with the street racers of Night City
Dark Horse Comics continues the expansion of the world based on CD Projekt Red’s hit game, Cyberpunk 2077. Created in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown is a four-part miniseries that takes Night City to the streets! The new series is written by Tomasz Marchewka, the principal writer of the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty, with artist Jake Elphick (Backtrack, Twisted Dark), colorist Jason Wordie (Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team, Break Out) and letterer Frank Cvetkovic (Cyberpunk 2077: XOXO, Count Crowley). Featuring cover art by Elphick, with variants on each issue from the grisly, anime-inspired illustrations of RUDCEF, André Lima Araújo (A Righteous Thirst for Vengeance, Spider-Verse) with Chris O’Halloran (Ice Cream Man, Time Before Time), and prolific concept artist DOFRESH.
Comic Book & Animation Narrative Creator for CD Projekt Red, Bartosz Sztybor is particularly excited for fans to see the newly designed cars created by the CD Projekt Red team for this book. These cars were not in the game, giving the Cyberpunk 2077 creative team even more opportunity to show off the world.
