Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan‘s latest split is being credited to the fact that the former couple reportedly wanted “different things out of life.”
Weeks after the Real Housewives of Miami couple called it quits on their romance after about a year-and-a-half of dating, and following a brief split earlier this year, Larsa, 49, is said to be “done” with her on-again-off-again relationship with the younger Marcus, 33, after feeling he was just not motivated enough for the long-term.
“Larsa realized this relationship is just not the one for her after spending some more time apart, filming a new show,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on March 20. “She wants to move on and focus on improving her life. They simply want different things out of life.”
“Larsa wants more out of her partner, someone who is motivated like her,” the source added.
That said, Larsa, whose new show has yet to be confirmed, was said to have ended her relationship with Marcus amicably, making way for a potential friendship in the future.
Although Larsa hasn’t publicly addressed the breakup quite yet, she has shared a couple of telling messages on social media, starting with a selfie about being “humble.”
“Humble enough to know I can lose it all. Confident enough to know I can get it all back,” she wrote with the March 19 post.
Also following the news of her and Marcus’ split, Larsa shared a sultry new photo of herself.
“Allow me to reintroduce myself,” Larsa wrote in her March 20 caption, also adding a blue heart emoji as she posed in a blue cleavage-baring top and white pants.
As RHOM fans will recall, Larsa’s castmates, Alexia Echevarria, 56, and Marysol Patton, 57, publicly questioned Larsa and Marcus’ initial split last month, which quickly came to an end as they reunited in Miami, suggesting that the couple’s breakup was nothing more than a publicity stunt.
In response to the speculation, however, Larsa said their comments were “unfortunate” and “incredibly hurtful.”
“[There’s] no truth to their commentary,” Larsa insisted to ET. “It is unfortunate that they would criticize a very personal matter that affects me and my family.”
The Real Housewives of Miami season seven is expected to go into production sometime in the coming months.
