A seemingly unsuspecting Craigslist ad ultimately led to an Oregon man being arrested after he allegedly grabbed a woman’s bare feet and rubbed them across his face! The man is now facing several sexual assault and harassment charges.

55-year-old Jimmy Jen Liu, of Aloha, Oregon, was arrested last Friday (March 15) after allegedly luring a woman to his home and subjecting her to “unwanted contact.” The Washington County Sheriff’s Office claims deputies received a 911 call from the woman detailing her encounter with the Oregon man.
The woman told the Sheriff’s Office that she saw an ad on Craigslist that showed someone was seeking a housekeeper. Ultimately, the woman reached out about the gig and made her way to Liu’s home in Aloha, OR. Shortly after arriving at the home, the woman claimed Liu began to make her uncomfortable by subjecting her to “unwanted contact.”

The woman alleged that the Oregon man grabbed her bare feet and began rubbing them across his face. After having had enough, the woman grabbed her belongings and left Liu’s home before calling the police. During the Washington County Sheriff’s Office’s investigation, deputies discovered that there was another woman who had reported a similar encounter with Jimmy Liu back in February 2024.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, this other woman was also responding to an advertisement on Craigslist that showed someone was looking for a housekeeper. It’s unclear if that woman also had her feet rubbed across his face or what their encounter entailed.

Hours following the latest incident on March 15, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested the Oregon man at his home and booked him into the Washington County Jail. The man was charged with harassment and sexual abuse in the third degree. On Monday (March 18), Jimmy Liu was arraigned in court and was hit with additional charges: attempted sexual abuse in the third degree and attempted harassment.
Investigators have since discovered that Jimmy Liu had a very large presence on social media, where he reportedly shared content seeking housekeepers as early as 2017. Officials reported that the Oregon man advertised math tutoring services to children. Deputies also believe that in addition to the two aforementioned women, there may be even more victims of Liu’s, and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
