Meagan Good’s sister, La’Myia Good is sharing her thoughts on Meagan dating actor, Jonathan Majors.
In an exclusive interview with @people, La’Myia spoke on her sister’s divorce from Devon Franklin in 2021 and new relationship with the ‘Creed’ actor which began in 2023. While attending Thursday’s premiere of BET+’s Diarra from Detroit, La’Myia had nothing but positive words to say about her sister’s new relationship. “We’re all about love, love, love, positivity, positivity, positivity,” La’Myia, 44, told the news outlet. “So her being enveloped in that — seeing her so happy and seeing her so, just enjoying and really just being present in herself. I love it.”

“I mean, you know, she’s been on a long, a long journey. I think everybody knows that divorce is difficult,” she said of Meagan who finalized her divorce in June 2022. “Moving forward is difficult. But not only that, transitioning with career and all her jobs that’s going on,” La’Myia says. “You know what I mean? So, absolutely. She’s got a lot going on.”
As we all know Jonathan Majors was recently on trial after his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari accused the actor of abusing her. Ultimately he was convicted in the domestic violence case against his ex-girlfriend. Meagan supported her man throughout the trial and a lot of the media attention began to focus on them two in court a lot. She spoke with people magazine again during the NAACP awards and said it tough but staying authentic helped her get through it.
“I stay true to myself, and I stay authentic,” Good told the publication. “I know what I know that I know. And in time, everything else just catches up with what you know if you’re true to yourself and you’re authentic.”

She continued, “There’s some things you just gotta be like, ‘I ain’t got time for that. Let me go see what my nephew’s doing. Let me see what my mama’s doing. Let me go see what my man’s doing. Let me go get this job.’”
