Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty may be on the hook for over $500,000 for failing to respond to an assault lawsuit.
TMZ obtained documents on Friday (March 22) that show a default judgment entered against them in L.A. County Superior Court in the amount of $503,318.02.
The issue stems from Thomas Weidenmuller — a security guard who first sued the couple for $753,000 in 2022 for an assault that allegedly happened during a Nicki World Tour show in Frankfurt, Germany, back in 2019.
According to Weidenmuller, the alleged skirmish happened when a fan breached the security barricade and got onstage while the Pink Friday rapper was putting on her show. Though Minaj’s personal security team managed to escort the fan offstage less than 15 seconds later, Minaj and Petty allegedly confronted Weidenmuller and his team about the incident after the show.
Nicki Minaj then allegedly called a female security guard on Weidenmuller’s team a “fucking bitch” and began blasting her live on social media. That’s when Weidenmuller stepped in and escorted the female security guard away from the situation. He claims he then went to Minaj’s dressing room to address the issue and Petty allegedly punched him in the face as Minaj began cursing.
Weidenmuller also alleged that Minaj directed Petty to attack him, thus prompting the suit for “battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence,” per the outlet.
Last April, Weidenmuller made a motion for the court to grant a default judgment in his favor because the Pettys had failed to respond to the suit at the time.
Just under a year later, that motion has been granted following what appears to be no movement from Minaj or Petty’s end.
In other news for the couple, Kenneth cemented his credentials as a Barb after rapping his wife’s lyrics during an endearing livestream earlier this month.
“You say you the biggest Barb so now you gotta finish the lyric,” Nicki said before spitting a few lines from her Pink Friday 2 track “Pink Birthday”: “Lowkey ‘cuz we just that ill now, ain’t never had a…”
Petty finished the line by rapping: “Bad bitch ’til now,” although Nicki was forced to correct him slightly as the actual line goes: “Ain’t never had a ill bitch ’til now.”

The “Roman’s Revenge” rapper continued the verse by spitting: “Post a pic, got ’em jackin’ like….” to which her husband confidently picked up the baton: “Like Jill now.”
Petty scored another point when Nicki said: “Break the internet at…” and he responded: “At will now.”
Pleasantly surprised by her husband’s knowledge, Minaj declared that he “won Nicki trivia,” adding: “I ain’t gonna lie, I ain’t know you was gonna get the words like that at least once.”
Petty responded: “That’ all I listen to!”
