Gisele Bündchen Denies Cheating On Tom Brady With Her Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

Gisele Bündchen has denied rumors of cheating on her ex-husband Tom Brady with her current partner Joaquim Valente, claiming the allegation is a label placed on women who dare “to leave an unhealthy relationship.”

Bündchen and Brady called it quits on their marriage in 2022, but the supermodel and Valente had known each other since 2021 but reportedly didn’t start dating until June 2023.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has denied having an affair with Valente before her marriage ended with Brady in October 2022. In a recent interview with The New York Times, Bündchen seemingly put the cheating allegations to rest, calling them “lies.”

“That’s a lie,” she replied when asked about the rumors. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful.”

“They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family,” she continued. “Of course, for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

Bündchen went on to note that “no one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

In February, a source close to the NFL quarterback shared that he has seemingly “accepted” that his then-wife started her romance with Valente “years ago,” per the Daily Mail.

Brady was said to be learning to “adapt” to the new relationship dynamics his family is now in after Bündchen and Valente’s romance became public knowledge.

“Tom has been dating and is all about growing from his relationship with Gisele and moving it to a place where they can co-parent,” a source told the outlet.

The insider also weighed in on the supermodel and her jiu-jitsu trainer’s relationship timeline, saying, “If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer, and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it.”

The source revealed that Brady was determined to maintain a cordial relationship with Valente for the sake of his children.

“Tom and Joaquim are not friends — but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy,” the source claimed. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”

The pair made headlines after they were spotted exercising and training together and also being cozy with each other, but Bündchen slammed speculations they were an item at the time.

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,” she told Vanity Fair in March 2023.

She added, “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything … I’m so grateful to know all of [the Valente brothers] because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.”

Bündchen is seemingly now comfortable enough to discuss her love life publicly, confirming to the New York Times that she is indeed dating someone.

“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she noted — without mentioning Valente by name. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

Amid media rounds to promote her new cookbook, Bündchen appeared on the “Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon, where she opened up about a near-death experience she once had during a fragrance campaign.

The revelation occurred during a game of “True Confessions” with Fallon and fellow guest Wayne Brady, where she was given two envelopes, one containing a lie about herself and the other something true.

The Brazilian beauty selected the second envelope, which revealed, “I did a photo shoot on a fake iceberg in Iceland, and I almost fell off into the ocean.” Although Fallon and Brady guessed it was false, Bündchen revealed that it actually happened.

She continued, stating that she “would have been dead in seconds” if she had fallen, as she was only wearing a slip dress and the water was extremely cold.

Bündchen added about the campaign, “It was for this fragrance called Oxygene. You got to Google it. You can see it, actually. It’s on the internet. It’s called Oxygene was the name of the fragrance.”
