Metro Boomin tells fans to enjoy the music and stop trying to create narratives of why, and if Future and Drake are beefing.
With the release of Metro Boomin and Future’s collaborative project We Don’t Trust You the hip-hop community is in shambles. The Album starts with Future calling Drake “his number one fan” while accusing him of sneak dissing. When you get to the middle of the album Kendrick Lamar gets tagged in and goes after Drake and J. Cole.
Peers switching up is something Drake has experienced his entire career but his relationship with Future is different.
Together they’ve had number-one singles, albums, tours, and more which makes fans question what happened. Internet detectives wasted no time getting to work and created the narrative the fallout was allegedly over a BBL bandit from the club Booby Trap.
According to Complex, Metro Boomin joined the conversation to tell fans to just enjoy the show and stop the assumptions.
Metro also implied the narrative isn’t true but would he confirm it if it was true? We’ve seen wars start over women so an iconic hip-hop duo splitting over a woman wouldn’t be surprising. Now we await Drake’s response which will sprinkle more clues for fans to piece together.
