More details surrounding Diddy’s alleged sex trafficking investigation are emerging. According to a new report by Rolling Stone, 25-year-old Brendan Paul was taken into custody on Monday around the same time federal agents raided Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami home.
In a recent lawsuit filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, the 25-year-old man was accused of being Diddy’s “drug mule” where he alleged that Paul would “acquire and distribute Mr. Combs drugs and guns.” A source close to the situation confirmed with the news publication that the mugshot was the same man that was named in Jones’ complaint. Officers who arrested Paul stated that the 25-year-old had “the contraband inside his personal travel bags … [and] the suspect cocaine was located and tested.”

Brendan Paul was reportedly arrested by Miami-Dade police on Monday afternoon at Opa-Locka Airport around 4:30 p.m. Which is around the same time Diddy’s homes were being raided. As of right now, it’s not clear if this arrest had something to do with the wider investigation into Diddy or where he was headed at the airport. Paul was reportedly taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami where he is being held on two $2,500 bonds for two charges: cocaine possession and possession of a controlled substance, per Rolling Stone.
As we previously reported, Diddy’s home was raided by federal agents yesterday. TMZ spoke with Homeland Security who released a statement that read: “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”
News of this federal investigation comes after public scrutiny of Combs’ behavior after his former romantic partner, Cassie, accused him of physically and sexually abusing her for years. She made the allegations in a lawsuit filed in New York under the New York Adult Survivors Act, which offered a one-year window for adult victims of sexual assault to come forward with civil claims regardless of the statute of limitations.

Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura claims after meeting Diddy in 2005 he began a pattern of control and abuse that included plying her with drugs, beating her and forcing her to have sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters. In 2018, the suit claims, near the end of their relationship, Diddy forced his way into her home and raped her.
