RHOBH star Kyle Richards has reportedly hired a divorce attorney as she needs to “move on” amid separation from husband Mauricio Umansky.
OK! Magazine reports that the marital rift between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky may be for good as the Real Housewives of Beverly star has hired a divorce attorney.
This move comes eight months after Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky separated after 27 years of marriage.
“Kyle finally pulled the trigger, and hasn’t looked back,” a source recently spilled. “She needed to move on.”
On top of the divorce being what is best for the 55-year-old RHOBH OG, the source notes that it also allow Kathy Hilton to get even closer to her youngest sister.
“Kathy and her husband, [Rick Hilton], have carried a lot of animosity toward Mauricio,” the confidante confessed.
“There will be some real healing happening in Kyle and Kathy’s relationship with Mauricio finally out of the picture,” the insider dished.
However, it seems that the Buying Beverly Hills star won’t just let his marriage end without a fight.
“He doesn’t want the divorce. He would love to stop it, but he knows that might not be possible at this point,” the source shared.
In September 2023, Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their separation after months of speculation. The two admitted that they are “free” to date other people during this time.
While it’s unclear what caused Mauricio and Kyle’s split, we do know that it seems the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple’s split may be for good as Mauricio is reportedly looking to move out of his and Kyle’s Encino mansion.
Their potential divorce could turn quite ugly as they do not have a prenup and have amassed quite a fortune throughout their nearly 30-year marriage.
The ex-RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
