Former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn and her husband, Christian Richard, have had several issues as of late. Notably, he was recently arrested in his bathrobe for alleged domestic violence and has reportedly violated a protective order. He was also accused of mistakenly hitting his son with a deadly weapon. Now, he is requesting a temporary restraining order and telling his side of the story.
Christine and Christian got married in 2019 and had their son in 2021. Fans got to know the couple through Selling Sunset, which even showed their engagement party. Despite fans getting to know the couple on the show, Christian, whose real name is Christian Dumontet, used a fake last name at the time. A Netflix official has said that this was for privacy reasons.
According to TMZ, Christian is now requesting a temporary restraining order against Christine after he was arrested for domestic violence. Christian and his lawyer also used the documents filed in court to tell his side of the story. According to Christian, the fight between him and Christine happened as a result of their two dogs, which happened to not be housebroken.
Apparently, the two dogs had used the bathroom on some of his valuable possessions. This is despite the items being blocked off. He then went to Christine, who had been home, to complain about the damage, and he found her in their bedroom. According to him, the room was also a mess.
He then says he got upset and picked up a bag of soiled rags and threw it against a wall. Previously, Christine said the bag contained glass and that he unintentionally hit their son with it. He also claims he never threw the bag at Christine. He also denies the bag contained glass.
Christian then says that he attempted to get their son away from everything that was going on, but Christine took him and barricaded herself in a room. Christian says before he knew it, the cops came in with their guns drawn and hauled him off in his bathrobe.
Christian believes his wife filed the false report with the police to make herself look better in case they end up divorcing. So far, Christine has not responded to the request for a temporary restraining order.
