This season of Summer House is going strong and is well-liked so far. Though much of the attention has been going to Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke, newbie West Wilson is also emerging as a fan favorite. Recently, he sat down to discuss his rumored romance with Ciara Miller, the number of DMs he gets now, and more.
As fans know, season eight of Summer House started in February. Though this is a bit of a dramatic season, it still has the same lightheartedness that viewers expect, and West is a driving force behind that.
West recently interviewed with Page Six and had quite a bit to say despite remaining coy about his love life. The interviewer starts by asking him about Valentine’s Day as Ciara has said she went on a double date for the occasion.
He said, “Where was I? Umm, I’m trying to remember.”
West then got cryptic when he continued, “Can’t say, but people celebrate Valentine’s Day on the 13th and the 15th.”
The conversation then turned to the amount of attention he has been getting from fans, and he confirmed that he’s getting a ton of DMs.
West said, “Everyone before the shows aired has been like, ‘Oh, get ready for the DMs,’ and I was like, ‘I’ll get a couple,’ [but] no, it’s been f–king crazy –– a little overwhelming.”
He then goes on to say that the messages he gets are pretty respectful. “There are a lot of women who shoot their shots but preface [with], ‘If things don’t work out, I’m here,’” West explained. “It’s so nice, so those get a little double tap. There’s a lot of respect in the DMs. People don’t believe that, but there is.”
It’s not just fans of Summer House who are giving West attention. He says that a former Bachelor contestant recently followed him, but he says he can’t remember her name. However, he is happy to get attention from a person from a different show. West also says he feels “guilt” around not being able to respond to every message he gets.
Summer House airs on Thursday nights on Bravo.
