King Charles III put on a brave face amid his cancer battle as he surprised members of the public outside St. George’s Chapel with a walkabout, during which he greeted them.

The walkabout came after the monarch and other royal family members attended an Easter service at the chapel. During the service, Charles noticeably sat apart from the rest of the royal family, reportedly as a precaution as he undergoes cancer treatment.

On Sunday, King Charles made a surprise appearance outside St. George’s Chapel, where he met with members of the public to exchange warm greetings after attending Easter service.

The monarch looked cheerful and in good spirits as he waved and shook hands with the small number of supporters. He told his well-wishers, “I’m doing my best,” amid his cancer battle, and they urged him to “keep going strong.”

Clad in a blue tie and dark coat, the king waved and grinned at the people outside the chapel. When one individual yelled, “Happy Easter!” Charles waved his arm and responded, “And to you,” per The Mirror.

During the brief walkabout, Charles saw one particular royalist, Anne Daley, waving a Welsh flag, prompting him to tell Queen Camilla, “Look, she’s from Wales.”

Daley spoke of the encounter afterward, saying, “I shouted back, ‘Yes, I’m from Wales and have come here especially to see you.’ He looked absolutely marvelous, really well.”

She added, “I wanted to show my support for King Charles and the Princess of Wales who we are all wishing well. We want to show them that we miss them, Wales misses her. She may not be here but she is not forgotten.”

King Charles attended the Easter Service at St. George’s Chapel with several royal family members, including his wife, Queen Camilla, and brother, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.

Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, were also present at the event.

Due to his ongoing cancer treatment, Charles and Camilla sat apart from the other members of the royal family and attendees during service. The couple also reportedly declined to attend the traditional post-service activities such as a reception and a private family lunch.

According to People Magazine, the scaled-down observance of Easter traditions shows the seriousness of King Charles’ health condition. However, a source told the news outlet that the outing also indicates that the monarch is “progressing well” in his cancer treatment.

The sourced added, “He is positive, the doctors are optimistic.”

The King’s Funeral Plans Have Allegedly Been ‘Released’

Recently, In Touch claimed that Charles’ funeral plans have been unveiled as the ruling monarch amid his cancer battle.

Charles’ funeral procession, “Operation Menai Bridge,” will reportedly resemble his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, which was dubbed “Operation London Bridge.”

“Operation Menai Bridge” will see some familiar protocols, including the king’s body being moved from the throne room at Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall. He will lie in state, and his official funeral will take place nine days later. He will likely be buried in the royal vault at Windsor Castle.

“It’s a fairly common thing to do among the British royalty, but in Charles’ case, expediency is necessary,” a royal insider said of the plans, adding that “some courtiers believe Charles’ cancer is worse than they’re making it out to be.”

“It will have all the pomp and circumstance befitting a British monarch,” the insider added.

King Charles Is Allegedly ‘Sicker Than The Palace Lets On’

The news outlet further claimed that Charles’ cancer is declining, with a source sharing that the king is battling something more than just cancer.

“King Charles is much sicker than the palace lets on and simply isn’t up to the job of running his fractious family, the crown’s business interests, and fulfilling the daily duties of the monarchy,” the royal insider told In Touch. “His cancer is eating him alive. He’s very frail. The situation is desperate.”

Before his Easter outing, Charles was quite absent from the public eye as he continued treating the disease. His schedule has also raised some concerns, as the royal calendar for the foreseeable future barely includes him.

The Palace Shut Down A False Death News By Russian Media

Buckingham Palace swiftly responded to the false announcement by the Russian state-run TASS news agency after they claimed King Charles had died.

The palace noted in a brief statement that the king was actively engaged in official duties and private affairs.

“We are happy to confirm that The King is continuing with official and private business,” Buckingham Palace stated.

They recently shared photos of Charles back on official duty, having in-person meetings with dignitaries from around the world.

The images of the king shared on March 6 marked his official return to his public royal duties. They also quelled fears surrounding his health, as he looked energetic and well in the photos.
