As we previously shared, on Friday (March 29), reports broke that Gypsy Rose Blanchard had split from her husband Ryan Scott Anderson. According to PEOPLE, Blanchard, 32, posted a private Facebook message revealing that she left her husband after nearly two years of marriage, and listed her relationship status as “separated.”
The news arrived just three months after Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri after serving more than eight years (of a 10-year sentence) in prison for plotting to murder her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, with then-boyfriend Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn in June 2015.
PEOPLE reported that Blanchard wrote, “People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”

Blanchard and Anderson tied the knot in a jailhouse ceremony without any guests in July 2022. Ahead of her early release in December 2023, she also told PEOPLE that she planned to marry the Louisiana middle school special education teacher again once on the outside. She said she was excited about moving in with her husband and starting their life together.
She said, “We do plan on having a reception/redo wedding with all of our family and our friends and the dress and the cake and everything because we deserve that. I deserve that. He deserves that. Our prison wedding was just something to where we can make our vows to each other. It was something that meant something to us. And I think the party is kind of for everybody else and us, but mostly for everybody else. I’ve never lived with a man. I grew up with a mom, so I didn’t even grow up with a dad in the house. So, I’m like, ‘I don’t even know what it’s like to live with a man.’”

However, after tying the knot in July 2022, Gypsy Rose Blanchard ended up leaving her husband Ryan Anderson in March 2024. TMZ reported that Blanchard’s life with Anderson was filmed for Lifetime and will be shared in a new project. A network rep told them, “Gypsy Rose Blanchard has openly shared her life with Lifetime and our cameras from the moment she was paroled. Her story, including her relationship with Ryan, will continue to unfold on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, debuting this June on Lifetime.”
Days after the separation news broke, TMZ now reports that Gypsy Rose Blanchard has moved on from her husband Ryan Anderson and seemingly rekindled her romance with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker. The publication reports that eyewitnesses told them that Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker, a man she was previously engaged to while in prison, reconnected this week and got matching tattoos.
The sources said that around 3 p.m. on Monday (April 1), the two hit up Sailor Bob’s Tattoo shop in Cut Off, Louisiana, close to where Blanchard’s father lives. In a photo going viral, Ken Urker is seen in one of the tattoo chairs as Gypsy Rose Blanchard sits next to him watching him get tattooed. Sources added that the pair got matching husky dog tattoos, which to them, symbolize their strong bond.

Reportedly, Urker paid for both of their matching tattoos which feature one person with a husky on their left arm and the other person with the same dog on their right arm; so when they walk side-by-side, the huskies face each other. Sources said the two didn’t show any PDA, but seemingly looked like they were together. Meanwhile, Urker’s mom told PEOPLE that the two are just good friends right now, with Urker helping Blanchard navigate through her separation from her husband.
Urker’s mom, Raina Williams, said, “They are not back together. They’re very cool. Ken is just being a supportive friend to her and that’s it. I think she’s a sweet girl. As of right now, there [are] no plans on a romantic scale right now.” She added, “I think she’s made her mistakes and she’s trying to learn from them like anyone else. And I care a lot for Gypsy and I want to see good things happen for her.”
