Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming live-action/CGI hybrid movie Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp, and this looks like quite the weird and wacky movie! The movie comes after the 2017 film, Woody Woodpecker: The Movie, which was not good at all, and I guess this is a sequel of sorts.
In the film, “After getting kicked out of the forest, Woody thinks he’s found a forever home at Camp Woo Hoo — until an inspector threatens to shut down the camp.”
The movie was directed by Jonathan A. Rosenbaum (Stuck in the Middle, Bizaardvark, Raven’s Home, Gabby Duran & The Unsittables, and Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock). The movie stars Eric Bauza as the voice of Woody, with Mary-Louise Parker, Josh Lawson, Chloe De Los Santos, Esther Son, Evan Stanhope, Kevin Michael Richardson as Buzz Buzzard, and Tom Kenny as Wally Walrus. I was surprised to see Mary-Louise Parker in this movie!
Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp will be released on April 12th, 2024.
