Ahead of CinemaCon, Disney Studios has announced the release dates for three of it big highly-anticipated films, The Mandalorian & Grogu, Toy Story 5, Tron: Ares, the live-action Moana, and more.

Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian & Grogu is set for May 22, 2026. The movie starts shooting in Los Angeles later this year, and the story will pick up in the aftermath of The Mandalorian Season 3.

Pixar’s Toy Story 5 is set for June 19, 2026. The film will see Tim Allen and Tom Hanks return to voice Buzz Lightyear and Woody, respectively.

Disney’s live-action version of Moana will now be released on July 10, 2026. Dwayne Johnson confirmed that aside from his reprisal as the character Maui, composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) will also be returning to do the music for the second film.

Tron: Ares is now set to be released on October 10, 2025. The film stars Jared Leto and follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, “who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”

The 20th Century Studios Rami Malek thriller, The Amateur, is now being released on April 11, 2025. The story follows “a CIA cryptographer who, after his wife is tragically killed in a London terrorist attack, demands his bosses go after them. When it becomes clear they won’t act due to conflicting internal priorities, he blackmails the agency into training him and letting him go after them himself.”

Then there’s Searchlight’s Amy Adams’ horror comedy Nightbitch, coming on December 6th. Adams stars in the project as a woman “thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler in the suburbs, who slowly embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood, as she becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a canine.”
