Gypsy Rose Blanchard is now on a journey of personal transformation, starting with a successful nose job surgery. The 32-year-old recently underwent rhinoplasty to change the shape and appearance of her nose, and she is eagerly anticipating the final results.
In an exclusive statement to @PEOPLE, Blanchard shared her excitement about the surgery, stating that it “went great.” She adds, “I come in and out of sleep. I was in pain at first but I am on pain medicine.”
Despite experiencing some initial pain and discomfort, she is looking forward to seeing her new look once the packing is removed on the 10th. She went on to share, “I can’t breathe through my nose because of the packing but that comes off on the 10th. I want to see it so bad!”
Released from the surgery in Lafayette, Louisiana, Blanchard is now focusing on her recovery process and the upcoming unveiling of her transformed nose. Her friend, Nadiya Vizier, previously revealed that Blanchard’s motivation for the surgery stemmed from a desire for a more feminine appearance. Vizier shared, “She just wants to fix it up and give it a more feminine look.”
Blanchard’s journey of personal transformation is not only physical but also symbolic of her resilience and determination to shape her own future. As she embarks on this new chapter, fans can expect to witness her progress and growth in the upcoming series, “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.”

More On Gypsy Rose:
As we previously reported, Gypsy Rose Blanchard gained public attention due to the high-profile case involving her and her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Gypsy Rose was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a form of abuse in which a caregiver exaggerates or induces illness in a person under their care to gain attention or sympathy.
Dee Dee Blanchard fabricated Gypsy Rose’s medical history, leading to unnecessary medical treatments and interventions throughout Gypsy Rose’s childhood. The case gained widespread media coverage following Dee Dee’s murder in 2015, orchestrated by Gypsy Rose and her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn.
The complex and tragic story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s life, including her upbringing, the abuse she endured, and the events leading to her mother’s death, has captured public interest and sparked discussions about mental health, abuse, and the criminal justice system. Gypsy Rose’s subsequent legal proceedings, as well as her efforts to rebuild her life after the events, have continued to keep her in the public eye.
