Ahsoka Tano has joined the Star Tours adventures at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris, and my wife and went to Disneyland over the weekend to experience it!
The new addition to the ride features Ahsoka Tano pulling you in an adventure as you have to help her evade enemy fire. It’s inspired by events in the recent Ahsoka series as riders find themselves hurtling through the clouds among a majestic pod of purrgil a.k.a. massive space whales.
Ahsoka was added to the ride on April 5th and I was riding it the next day. It actually ended up being a lot of fun, mostly because of the kids on the ride who were freaking out over the appearance of Ahsoka and the ship flying and maneuvering around the purrgil.
There are a couple of other additions coming to Star Tours as well this spring including adventures with Cassian Andor from Andor, and Din Djarin and Grogu from The Mandalorian.
They “will be added to the urgent transmissions that may greet riders during their journey. And thanks to StarWars.com we can share some promo images.
The announcement reads: “With these additions, you’ll now have an opportunity to experience one of more than 250 storyline variations aboard the attraction, including a visit to the planet Seatos from the Ahsoka series.”
The Star Tours update, “the first since Kef Bir was added to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, will debut during Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort starting April 5.”
