Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 9 aired on April 4, 2024, on KBS TV. KBS’s ongoing daily drama revolves around a star psychiatrist, Jin Soo-Ji, and a rookie doctor, Chae Woo-Ri. Episode 9 introduces a new character, leading to a possible love triangle narrative in the future. Jin Soo-Ji (Hahm Eun-Jung) is a celebrity doctor whose schedule is always packed with work. Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 9: Yoon Da-Hoon faces turmoil in his venture
Episode 9 begins where the previous episode left off. Jin Soo-Ji is at the Haedeul Hospital for its 50th anniversary. As the news reporters surround her, she suddenly notices an old friend, Hyun Sung. When she slips, he rushes to save her from falling. Not only him, but Chae Woo-Ri (Baek Sung-Hyun) also rushes to save her. But he misses his timing. He falls to the ground, giving the viewers a laugh. The short interaction between Soo-Ji and Hyun Sung hints beyond words.
The event begins. After a few congratulatory words, the hospital crew starts to give awards to the people who earned them. Jin Soo-Ji receives an award. While everyone is happy for her, her sister, Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul), can’t stand her success. She cuts herself out of jealousy. Later, she washes the blood off in the washroom and starts to cry. She blames her mother for everything.
On the other hand, Jin Soo-Ji’s father, Jin Jang-Soo, faces a huge whiplash from his new business. His venture, BiBi Roll, turns out to be one of his worst decisions. He tries to get hold of Mr. Gong, but from what it seems, he has disappeared for good. Now, what is the future of his business will be shown in the drama.
In another part of the episode, Jin Soo-Ji and her old friend, Hyun Sung, catch up with each other. While they reminisce about their old days, Hyun Sung says, “I miss you,” to Soo-Ji, leaving her confused. In the upcoming episode, more stories about the characters’ backgrounds will unfold.
