While taking to her Instagram on Sunday (April 7), Azealia Banks confessed, “I really think Tyler, the Creator and Lil Nas X should get over their obsession with broke White bussy and become a power couple. I think the sensationalism of successful Black gay men toting trailer a** rent man hookers as arm candy is played, predictable, and they’re both obviously being objectified and plotted on by these boys for hire. It would be way more monumental to see two young Black gay men as an item. Even just for aesthetic reasons. The idea of spending the extra hardly earned Black male dollars on some cheap White buss is extra whack.”
Banks continued her PSA in her caption, writing, “No more white Taco Bell-eating Caucasian twinkery guys. The image is not giving. You two as an item would shift culture so hard. And Tyler can teach Lil Nas X how to rap so he can stop doing his Azealia Banks impression and fire all these weird White creative directors who obviously have no point of references or respect for the nuance, sheer musical opulence, and political groundwork laid out for him to inherit. And he haaaaaaaave to drop the daytripp beats. Lil Nas X should be working with Jeff Mills, Byrell the Great, Lsdxoxo, Kevin JZ Prodigy, Babyface (yes I said it), Jonathan from Newbody, Duke Dumont, (please no Arca or Mike Queef).”

She added, “Rivermoon, Mykki Blanco (when he’s really tearing n***as up with the bars). Ugh, Mykki is such a beast when he wants to be. But coming for Yemaya’s favorite daughter when I was the ONLY person giving him credit for his sheer, utter skill and trying to redirect the convo of his art out of disposable vapid White gay media’s bullsh*t LGBTQ ‘icon pigeonholery,’ and overstate that the b*tch has bars…”
Banks continued, “He tried me for a b*tch who wouldn’t ever speak his name or be able to articulate what he meant for Hip-Bop. I’m not even a vengeful person I’m just kinda sick of all these child sex trafficking pedophiles being celebrated for their masculinity and heralded as Black inspirations when their all just drug/sex addicts who SUCK each other’s d**k, then murder one another with no remorse, then have sooooooo much to say about police violence, meanwhile being the ones destroying the community. TUH.”

Tyler, the Creator caught what Azealia Banks said about him and Lil Nas X and simply commented under her post, “Lmfao, what the hell?” Lil Nas also reacted with a post and delete on X (formerly Twitter). In his since-deleted tweet, he wrote, “Azealia Banks is right! Me and Tyler SHOULD f**k!” Azealia reacted and said, “Okay, give the girls Pop Culture. Come on k*ntsssss.”
Azealia’s plea for Tyler, the Creator and Lil Nas X to leave the White men alone and become a Black gay power couple arrives after Lil Nas fired off on a fan for claiming he was dating a mysterious White man. The “Montero” rapper shared a quick TikTok video promoting new music and it featured the arm of a White man.

An X user wrote, “I told y’all. This a class/status thing. As soon as you get $$$, they get them a sun dodger. But they will blame it on bullying. They will say: ‘Love is love. I’m colorblind. I like who like me. This is just my preference.’ Blah, blah, blah.” The rapper told the fan, “Baby girl, it ain’t no way you got all this from a 7-second video.”
Tyler, the Creator also recently went viral after being confronted by Jerrod Carmichael, who invited him on his self-titled show and recalled being shot down by Tyler after expressing his feelings for him. Reflecting on the moment, Tyler told Jerrod, “Getting news like that and then avoiding it is a way to avoid change. I didn’t think brushing that off and continuing regularly would be such a dent. I don’t know.”
The moment only further fueled speculation that Tyler, the Creator is largely into White men based upon alleged hints sprinkled into his interviews and music, like on past albums ‘Flower Boy‘ and ‘IGOR.’
