It seems like Gypsy Rose Blanchard is doubling down on her separation from her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson. According to PEOPLE, the 32-year-old filed for divorce on Monday (April 8).

Gypsy Rose put in the paperwork in Louisiana, per confirmation from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of the Court. As of yesterday, a judge was assigned to the petition for review. It has not yet been determined if any hearings will be required to grant the divorce.
What Happened Between Gypsy Rose & Her Husband?
As previously reported, Gypsy revealed her separation from Ryan in a March 28 Facebook post. She made the announcement, obtained by PEOPLE, via her private account.
At the time, it had only been about three months since her early prison release in December. She’s now reportedly living with her father and stepmother in Cut Off, Louisiana.
It’s unconfirmed what exactly led to Gypsy and Ryan’s separation. However, in her Facebook post, she shared that she needs “time to find [herself]” and “who” she is.
Meanwhile, days after news of the separation spread, Gypsy was photographed out and about with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker. Photos showed the pair smiling, laughing, and holding hands while exploring New Orleans. They even got matching tattoos, but a source reportedly told TMZ they’re just friends and that the four-day trip was an act of support.

Her hang-out with Ken seemingly came as a shock to Ryan Scott Anderson, who recently told The Daily Mail that he wasn’t aware of her “strong feelings” for her ex-fiancé.
He said that the split “came out of the blue,” and he’s “not doing well with it.” In a TikTok post, he revealed that they had been filming for Lifetime and that fans would soon “see what happened.”

Gypsy’s Friend Paints Different Picture Of Her Estranged Marriage
Gypsy Rose’s friend and tattoo artist, Nadiya Vizier, told PEOPLE that Blanchard decided to separate from Ryan after a heated argument.
She alleges that the 37-year-old got in Gypsy’s face “and screamed.”
“Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her. He didn’t — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared. But she got to safety and called her lawyer, too. Ryan is a big guy, and she told me it was really scary.”
Neither Ryan nor Gypsy have confirmed or denied Nadiya’s allegations.
Note that Rose’s agenda has been a lil’ heavy, including recovering from getting cosmetic surgery on her nose last Friday.
