WWE superstar John Cena has teased a final run in his wrestling journey, saying he wants to take a break from Hollywood. Cena has been dropping hints about his retirement plans for the past few months.
In many interviews, the leader of the Cenation has stated that he plans to wind down his career by the time he is 50 years old. Cena, who made a shocking appearance at WWE WrestleMania 40 to help Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline, also appeared on the Pat McAfee Show following his surprising appearance at WrestleMania 40.
Because of his Hollywood commitments, John Cena has been working part-time in WWE. During a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Cena expressed his wish for a break from Hollywood so that he could have a final run in WWE. He mentioned, “I’m crossing my fingers and my toes and my heart that maybe, maybe, just maybe, I can tell the Hollywood to pump the brakes for a while and come back to my family for one last run. I hope, I hope, I don’t know. I’m trying. We’ll see what happens.”
Last year, the WWE Universe witnessed a two-month run from John Cena when he returned to the promotion from September to November. During that time, he worked with The Bloodline and LA Knight.
