Issa celebration, roommates! Summer Walker is celebrating her 28th birthday today (April 11). In addition to sharing her intentions for this next year of life, the ‘Girls Need Love’ singer also seemingly debuted her new man, Coop Cashington.

Summer took to her Instagram feed on Thursday with a carousel of photos. It seems she welcomed age 28 with a woodsy outing with friends and a lil’ boo thang!
The first photo in the post shows her rocking a closed-mouth smile while wearing hot pink pants and a tee, a black cowboy hat, and cream-colored boots. Other photos showed her sitting on river stones and posing near a waterfall.
Her caption said, “My gift to myself for the age of 28 is the word ‘no.’ A regulated nervous system. Living slowly, softly, and intentionally.”

On her Instagram Story, she shared a photo featuring four other women, presumably friends. Another picture showed her and a mystery man embracing each other in the woodsy background.
What’s Tea On Summer Walker’s New Man?
Well, The Shade Room did a little digging, and the man appears to be on social media under the name Coop Cashington. His Facebook page indicates he’s from Atlanta. Though he lists himself as engaged, he seemingly refers to Summer Walker as his “girlfriend” and the “love of [his] life.”
In a post on April 11, he wrote, “Happy bday to the love of my life!! I love you more than life itself,” adding a kissy face emoticon. His post included a photo of him hugging Summer from behind. The two appeared to be enjoying a date night as she posed in a brown and black dress paired with black heels.
On Wednesday, he shared another photo with Summer, captioned, “We locked in 4L.” The two appeared to be in a local market in an undisclosed location. Note that less than a day ago, he shared a separate post saying he’s “enjoying Mexico.”
Also on Wednesday, Coop Cashington shared “Finally know what true love feels like” on his Facebook page.

Several of Coop’s posts going back to mid-March seem to point to his bond with Summer Walker. In one, he speaks about manifesting twins, while in another, he says his “girlfriend is so beautiful.”
It’s unclear when Summer Walker and Coop started dating. In November, Summer and Meech stirred rumors of rekindling their relationship. At the time, she had shared unseen photos of them together, including a kiss planted on her cheek and them in matching denim ‘fits.
But in an interview with ‘The Morning Hustle’ released at the top of March, Meech confirmed they had gone their separate ways.
